Between Pages

A few weeks ago, I took a study bible off the shelf and a sweet surprise fell out. Years ago, during a stormy season, I enjoyed the words of wisdom found on my desk calendar. It was during the rise of the Prayer of Jabez (1Chronicles 4:10), so I can only assume the author to credit is Bruce Wilkinson. What fell out of the pages of my bible was the following quote.

“It doesn’t matter whether you are short of money, people, energy, or time. What God invites you to do will always be greater than the resources you start with. Living with the hand of God upon you means that at times you’ll be asked to act in spite of the evidence…and the watch the evidence change.”

What doesn’t make sense in the moment, becomes clearer when we step out and walk in faith. If you are in a moment or season where fear or doubt dominate your day…hold on to the hope that God WILL give you the resources you need.
