Unswervingly: in a constant and steadfast manner. 

My life verse is Hebrews 10:23…

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”

The Greek word that is translated unswervingly, means to hold fast, keep secure, keep firm possession of.  In some of my most discouraging moments-I’ve needed to hold fast to the faithfulness of Christ.  In euphoric moments-I’ve needed to hold on to His faithfulness (lest I become arrogant in my accomplishment, celebration, etc.). 

For today, I just need the reminder that He promised…and that alone is enough.
