For anyone curious about what the hashtag means, you can check out this post for more information. This is an organic effort to scatter kindness in the world around us. What started as a letter writing campaign has diversified to sticky notes on bathroom mirrors, dinners dropped off for friends, car chargers given to weary travelers, money collected for new teachers, and the list goes on.

This is not a movement without people, so thank you to everyone who has joined the effort.

Why new shirts? One way to spread the word of the movement is by using our clothing as advertising. While standing in line at my local coffee shop, a woman asked me what the hashtag meant, and by the time we finished talking, she bought me a tea and asked to join the movement. Shirts serve as a great conversation piece, as it turns out!

If you want to support the movement by ordering a shirt, we’d be delighted. The shirts help us spread the word and create printed materials when we’re invited to speak at events. Sharing the #sowkind story is nice, but when we have the opportunity, we like to get people started right away. One way we do this is by supplying post-it notes and/or notecards.
